The master builder of these houses takes extreme care of the design which the blueprint in their minds. The timber is from the rich tropical rain forest. The rain forest offers hardwood timber with high density like Chengal (Neobalanocarpus heimii) which this house is made from. The master builders design in such interlocking system with a dowel join, in Malay known as “Pasak”.
