Hi guys this is Johnson for 😀👋👋 Johnsonmalaysia.com Today I’m going to have my breakfast at one of the east coast cuisine in nearby Shah Alam this restaurant cooks dishes from the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia there are two types of dish that I want to show you today.
Porridges 🥣🥣
Example call colek malas or “Lazy dip” it is fried cakes with nut gravy. Other porridges, banana 🍌 porridge durian porridge sticky rice porridge tapioca porridge and etc.
I am going to try nasi kerabu for my breakfast. Nasi means rice, but this rice is blue in colour, it comes from a flower call butterfly pea, used by the east coast people to colour not only the rice he even other cakes. I am taking the rice with other condiments like the fried shredded coconut with fishflicks, fried shredded coconut. Budu which is anchovy in salt. 🦈 Salad 🥬🥒 The main thing, plenty of bean sprouts, onion Sprout and then I have asked for barbecue beef and also salted egg. Full meal I’m going to have my breakfast once I have this breakfast, I might skip my lunch because this is a full fledge meal in the morning.
Sambal 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Be careful with the hot sambal which is reddish in colour those are really spicy, but when you follow with me don’t worry about the spicy because we will adjust according to your tolerance. I know many westerners unable to take it so we will skip this and maybe you can try a bit and see if you’re able.
