Hi Guys, this is Johnson for JohnsonMalaysia.com your local tour guide in Malaysia. Today, allow me to introduce the iconic tower that you will not miss whiles you enter Kuala Lumpur from KLIA airport.
The KL Tower Locally, we call it Menara Kuala Lumpur. If you ask me which is the highest point in KL now in 2019 It is the KL Tower, but not structurally because it is standing on at the historical hill call the pineapple hill, strange name ah 😊 join with me in Old Kuala Lumpur Walk, I’ll share the importance of his hill and Malay leader Sutan Puasa. http://johnsonmalaysia.com/the-heart-of-kuala-lumpur-walking-tour-3-5hrs-with-local-tour-guide/
Coming to the Highest point, The KL tower is 421 meters plus the Hill itself about 100m adding up it is about 521m. The only future tower that is going superset is the PNB118 when completed it will be 630 meters. The Super magnificent twin ladies of KL the Petronas Twin Tower is still the tallest twins to me the elegant, charming beauty, wow! She still entices me with her beauty. http://johnsonmalaysia.com/the-petronas-twin-towers-at-night/
The KL Tower is a communications tower completed on 1995. The look of the tower is like spinning top with pineapple façade on top. When I bring tourist here normally recommend them to go the open deck which cost about RM99.00 or alternative for RM 50 you could go to the observation deck which an indoor.
If you bring your loved one and would like to have a romantic dinner the 360 Atmosphere is the place a buffet dinner will cost about RM200 per person. Normally company dinner is arranged here if you would like to arrange a dinner let me know. Or company team building in the forest. Race & Base Jump
Every year there is a race climbing upstairs, if you think Batu Caves 272 is easy then try joining these 10 times more about 2000 steps to reach the top, about 22 levels. I can’t do now.
Some people are thrill seekers, we have Base Jump. Where parachute jumpers from all over the world will come to KL Tower to, do the free fall jump from open deck to base.
The Muslim people which make 65% of Malaysia population by the way many of my friends are Muslim they use this tower as one observation point to watch the moon crescent to determine month of Ramadhan, Syawal, and Zulhijjah, to celebrate, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Aidiladha and other important months festivals. When you enter into the main hall where the elevators are, don’t miss to look up, not for superman but the super huge Diamond dome ceiling. This is amazing guys, beautiful mirror arrangement sparkles. These domes were designed and set up in the shape of the Muqarnas by Iranian craftsmen from Isfahan. They periodically cleaned to maintain its fantastic spark.
Bukit Nanas Forest
The forest at the foot of the Tower is sill a virgin forest in Kuala Lumpur it is among a handful of urban tropical rain forest in the city. However, you could book a 2hour forest tour in the nearby forest walk with JohnsonMalaysia.com The Malaysian forest hold the highest biodiversity in the world so this is not to be missed if you are in a business meeting in Kuala Lumpur.
