Hi, guys, this is Johnson for JohnsonMalaysia.com there are many names given goes and gone through an evolution and changed to different name eg in Malaysia we call the vehicle to reverse “Gostan” which is a marine term for a ship going into reverse. Pahang Darul Makmur the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia also had a different name and evolved. Hundreds of years ago a Chinese writer called Pahang as Pang-Hang and similar names. The Siam indigenous people called it “Pahang” referring to “Ore” tin ore which could be the right name because Tin was the most important commodity 50 years ago but not now.
The capital Kuantan, the state capital of Pahang is an upward and coming up town located along the east coast of West Malaysia, comprising a population of half a million people and tropical climate.
